Last week was a momentous day for me. Now being part of CBS, a non-profit organization for bloggers in Cebu, I have become more motivated in pushing through with this endeavour.
Hopefully, my being a CBS member can gain me lots of opportunities online.
Now, there is a thread going on among the bloggers on Facebook. I have not read the newspaper section nor I have an idea of the name of the newspaper that mentions bloggers and some issues involving bloggers. However, what is surprising is the amount of feedbacks/comments gained and ensued including yours truly.
Bloggers versus a newspaper section–new media versus old media in Cebu—is going to be a flaming issue but I think resolution is on the way or so I hope.
In other news, Mandaue Run for Life is going to be on August 1, 2010. I initially intended to join the run after knowing it on the first meeting I had with CBS. But after going through an accident involving cuts and wounds from fishing adventure, I decided to halt it. Good thing, I have not paid the registration yet.
Mandaue Run for Life 2010 is an opener for Mandaue Business Month to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the organization’s founding. Being a Mandauehanon, I believe I have a role in making the business alive in this highly-urbanized city. I am not yet a successful entrepreneur worthy of recognition but I am hoping to get there eventually, if not sooner, then years from now maybe.
I haven’t wrapped up the weekend yet. But expect a lot of this kind of post on the remaining days of Bjorn Cebuano.
