Last week, I proudly announced on my Facebook account the registration of a my online venture Bjorn iMedia Marketing. However, it is a shame on my part for failing to blog about it. There should be a story to tell on the conception of a DTI-registered business. There should be a narration. There should even be a site about the venture similar to a start-up composing of bloggers established by a CBS colleague, the organization president, Mr. Vernon Go of vernongo.com.
Bjorn iMedia Marketing started this January of 2010. I aimed to make money online that is why I go blogging. However, because of time-consuming and oftentimes relentless efforts to attain the goal set in dollar earnings per month, I’ve decided to pursue freelancing being an online writer. The job is not new to me. I have been into writing since 2007 as attested by the various narrations in some posts of this blog.
My freelancing career has helped me survive as I continue finding other means to earn income online. Make money online is a good niche in blogging but I did not go through with that as I would like to have a personal blog that helps me exhaust some things, tips and advises about business. Bjorn Bernales caters to the business niche but with a mix of personal details. Blending personal accounts to a certain niche is not uncommon in blogging. Most bloggers do that, right?
The second blog with a main domain began from Blogger. The blog had a blogspot.com as its primary domain but I changed it to its main domain, which this blog holds, this April of this year by registering a main domain. Cashing out is what I did but it was not regretful for I have finally seen a great transition on my first ever blog: from nonsense postings to being an instrument for my CBS membership.
Bjorn Cebuano has been through changes, mood swings in postings and testings. I have attempted to integrate Classified section using a WP plug-in. The plug-in is still active, by the way.
I have also been through tepid periods in blogging. This is my first post for the month of September 2010 and as of this writing, I am in an office of the business location where Bjorn iMedia Marketing is located, sharing a space with OH! Bern Net Cafe and Snack Bar, another business I have managed. And I have done this posting at past midnight.
And oh, the cafe is still open with eight net surfers, tiring their eyes out staring at the screens.
Now back to Bjorn iMedia Marketing.
Vernon Go has his Geoh Media. I want to be part of it, actually, just to be frank. However, I need to be committed with the organization. I think, that won’t be possible for I am stuck with three businesses to go through their survival stages. Besides, my time is of the essence and every minute I do counts. Unlike those past months of this year, these past few months require me to attend to the business operations; process the requirements, permits and licenses; manage the renovation of the space; do updates in my blogs and some other sites I am affiliated with,; create new sites for the new businesses; promote the businesses, blogs and sites; purchase necessary ingredients, gadgets and even pay bills and a lot more.
My time, right now, is very relevant.
Do I feel the pressure?
Yeah.
Do I like it?
Actually, yes. A big YES. I am happy, honestly.
At this moment, I am taking another step for business success. After I said yes to managing the business and to make drastic changes, going back is not anymore an option. I have to strive hard, do effectively and make the most of my daily activities efficiently.
The good thing about blogging is that it is my therapy. After making through the a hundred words of this post, I feel a sense of relief for airing out the things about my undertakings.
Blogging is really a therapy. You should try it. As for other bloggers, sustain it.
And as for Bjorn iMedia Marketing, watch out for the new site. It is still brewing.
Honestly, the coffee-maker doesn’t have ground coffee yet. This week, I’ll put a load of it.
