I became proactive on the last day of 2010. I had to run errands, went shopping for food for Medya Noche, bought beverages and other things and that day was very stressful yet fun. The most interesting thing I noticed on that day was when I was in the public market. Even if it was 7 in the evening, there were still many shoppers looking for items for integration on Medya Noche.

The most amazing was at Mandaue City Public Market. Almost every fruit stand had buyers on it. There were five fruit stands where sellers had a hard time complying to the requests of many buyers. Surely, that day was a good one for businessmen and fruit sellers. Fruits were in demand items during New Year’s Eve and that day was no exception.
Another thing I observed is that the economy in Cebu was doing well in 2010. And I have great confidence that 2011 is the continuation for more good things in Cebu, economically.
Economists predicted that the Philippines will gain more than 7% increase in GDP for 2010. And if this trend will be sustained or that the rate of economic improvement in GDP will grow every year, there is a great likelihood for Philippines to be at par with the developed countries.
Perhaps, Philippines will become an Asian Tiger economy in a matter of 6-7 years.
Many have said that if Cebu will be separated from the Philippines, the tiny island archipelago could be almost tantamount to Singapore. However, there are many things that require big development in Cebu for the island province to be comparable to the Lion City-state. The good thing here is that many projects have been launched for Cebu, especially in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, Lapu-lapu and Talisay. Even the rural areas of the island have experienced tremendous development.
I am proud to be Cebuano and I am very happy to be a citizen of Cebu. I am very hopeful that Cebu will experience a big big boom economically. Almost every year, Cebu’s GDP experiences rise in growth rate.
For Small and Business Entrepreneurs in Cebu, it is now imperative to have web presence. Having web sites would become a standard for businesses who desire to tap online users who prefer convenient purchasing and value-added information for things they need or want to buy.
As suggestion, it is important for Cebu-based businesses to tap online marketers and bloggers who also do services beyond blogging. For those who wish to get online promotion and would even require help from Internet marketers in building sites and marketing products and services on those sites, the author of this blog Bjorn Cebuano will gladly help you comply with your business requirements.
Expect great things to happen in Cebu. And don’t forget to avail the service of online experts in helping you attain your business objectives.

With a But….
Happy New Year!!
It is up to the government on how they can manage the country to attain this goal. So yeah… there’s this but and this big “but” lies to government’s performance.
But I am hopeful though.
Cebu City is considered as one of the most progressive cities in the Philippines, hope this is not just what we call jingle as being crown the Queen of the South, but also the greatest of the south!
Howdy! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My web site looks weird when viewing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to fix this problem. If you have any recommendations, please share. Thanks!
