I hope people will think out of the box and consider the fact that not all bloggers are into personal matters. Yes, we integrate our personal thoughts on things that we blog about, that’s why we are bloggers. But let’s not forget the changes happening in the social media in which more and more businesses and entrepreneurs recognize the remarkable results blogs and other social media tools can do for their businesses.
I am also a personal blogger but I’ve got blogs that tackle about business. I can be independent as a blogger as I choose to be. And yes, I am still an independent blogger. But we should also realize that not only bloggers are personal bloggers. Bloggers may cover different niches. They can be business bloggers in which corporate bloggers are part of, political bloggers, travel bloggers, food bloggers and so many categories of bloggers to mention.
It is still immature for me to say about the structure of the Philippine Bloggers Association. But the one thing I am sure about is that I would like to be part of it.
I respect the views of other bloggers. And that makes the blogoshere colorful with different views and opinions, maintaining an equilibrium between the yin and yang.
But I still say yes to Philippine Bloggers Association. I dream of being a full-pledged Problogger. It is not because I am motivated of money and power. It is because I sense and aspire win-win situations in which bloggers have concerns about and are a part of.
Hi there! It’s good that you see the necessity for a nationwide association of bloggers. I hope that many of your fellow Cebuano bloggers also feel the same way. Rest assured, any movement towards forming this association will indeed be nationwide in character. Cheers!
Yes, we are a group of Cebuano bloggers, planning for it and we’re currently urging other bloggers to do the same.

Hi Bloggie. We, from the Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc., have already been debating and discussing about forming a national association for bloggers. We actually started laying out plans but haven’t came up with final proposal since we are also busy organizing other blogging events here Cebu. We are currently organizing World Bloggers’ Day 2011 for this coming May 02. (:
